I started Valley Doll Festival as a one off idea to finally bring music to the valley in Los Angeles. My concept was simple - 12 hours of music, 10 of the top local bands in LA in the comfort of a backyard. I didn’t dream up the community it happened naturally. It was a hit. I didn’t plan people would connect to it so much - it just happened! I was floored by the amount of people who came, stayed all day and the excitement of music discovery.

The cops weren’t as crazy about it. Neighbors called it Studio City’s Coachella and when we had to quiet down I had to figure out what was next with Valley Doll Festival.

I realized that we could continue music discovery, continue to support artists outside my backyard. Welcome to Valley Doll Magazine.
